My dear Friends and Subscribers!
I've spend a week in the Dominican Republic swimming in the ocean, snorkeling near the reefs, dancing the sensual merengue (Dominican national dance) and salsa on stage with the local dancing boys, riding stallions (4-legged types, mind you!) on a sunny beach, swimming with the dolphins, dancing until I lost my heels in discotheque until 4 am, and jet skiing alone at 50 mph in choppy waters. {Yeah! I love living dangerously!}
I had my hair braided in 67 braids. I asked the hairdresser if she could make 2 more braids. She had no idea what I was talking about. Ahh, the innocence of the locals! As you can imagine, I had no problems finding volunteers to spread some sun tan lotion on my.. er... plumage. {eg} Due to such proper protection, I didn't burn that much but acquired a pinkish-golden hint of a tan. Safe at last!
I've met a ton of interesting people, none of them from the USA. Due to my presence on stage, by the third day, everybody new who Irene from New York was. {veg} I'll put some of my most interesting experiences on an upcoming new sub-portion of my web page. I’ll scan in some new pictures, too.
While I am working on the upcoming new portion, why don't you visit my existing site and see what I have created? Many of you ask what I look like. Well, I've put some of my pictures on my web site for the curious ones. Enjoy!
Well, it's back to the joke business...
A sun-kissed LadyHawke
